Senior Consultant
Hugh is a Senior Consultant in the DTP treasury and finance team, with a broad portfolio of treasury and financial planning clients.
Hugh provides treasury and finance support, with a particular focus on Scotland. He is also part of the wider team delivering DTP’s strategy, governance and regulatory compliance support services, including strategic options appraisals and risk management. He is skilled in financial planning and modelling, treasury management, risk management and governance, and in developing and testing assurance reporting.
Hugh is a Chartered Accountant with almost 30 years in social housing and care, as executive director, consultant and board member and Chair. He joined DTP in 2020 after 12 years as Director of Finance at Dumfries & Galloway Housing Partnership (now Wheatley Homes South) and a previous role in consultancy with Tribal HCH. An experienced non-executive, Hugh chaired the board of a housing and care provider in Edinburgh for five years and then a further education college through the pandemic period. He currently chairs the audit and risk committees for two housing associations.

Sarah is a Director and is DTP’s lead for Rent Standard compliance services, along with care and supported housing activity. Sarah is also part of the wider team delivering strategy, governance and regulatory compliance support services.
